Container Storage as a Service

Containers are lightweight, compact and flexible. They’re key to application modularity and scalability – which makes them essential building blocks for cloud-model IT. IDC predicts that by 2021, the vast majority of app development on cloud platforms will use microservices and containers.

Enterprise adoption of containers and container orchestration frameworks (like Kubernetes) in the past year have been startling. Most of the Fortune 500 firms have plans to implement some form of containerized services in their production environments. But challenges around management, monitoring and data persistence remain.

Pure Storage has made significant investments in integrating with the container ecosystem to allow customer to deploy containerized applications. From the Docker volume driver to Kubernetes FlexVolume, Pure makes it easy to deploy your applications in containers. This session will provide a technical overview of the choices available today.
